Your Comments : Fiji slips on freedom list

Yet another indicator of the decline of Fiji under this illegal government.

The indian supported coup and the traitorous acts of Chaudry and the FLP have had a devastating effect on Fiji. The human rights abuses and murders of innocent Fijians in custody is a blight on the Pacific.

Treasonous abusers and those stealing from the public purse such as Khaiyum, Shameem and Chand must be brought to justice. Their punishment must fit the crime so that this never happens again.

Hopefully one day the credibility of the FMF will be restored once this ineffective and cowardly self proclaimed PM is eliminated.

There is no place in Fiji for reconciliation until justice is meeted out to ALL responsibile for these terrible acts on a wonderful nation!

Who's No. 1 in auto sales? Trend matters more than tally

Who's No. 1 in auto sales? Trend matters more than tally Global operations make it hard to get clear-cut figures. Sharon Terlep / The Detroit News

It's the auto industry's most-hyped contest of the decade. A rivalry of Pepsi vs. Coke proportions.

But as far as producing a clear victor -- or even eager participants -- the global sales race between General Motors Corp. and Toyota Motor Corp. is something of a dud.

Depending on how the sales numbers are crunched, either automaker could have come out on top in 2007, with both companies selling roughly 9.37 million cars and trucks in 2007.
