| Local online advertising to grow in next five years: JupiterResearch
Local display and search advertising are among the leading online advertising categories marked for significant growth within the next five years, according to JupiterResearch's US Online Local Advertising Forecast. According to the report, display and search advertising are expected to grow by 18% and 16%, respectively, from 2007 to 2012. Local advertising, overall, is expected to increase by 13% in this time period, while online advertising as a whole is expected to grow by 12%. Internet users are getting savvier when it comes to searching for local businesses online, the forecast stated. In addition, search engines are working to increase the quality of their local and zip-code-specific results. This growth should not discount traditional media, JupiterResearch warned.

Wayne Henning: Stadium's future rests in hands of city, residents
Such as newly annexed portions of the city. The currrent stadium has not been studied. The improvements needed for the current stadium were put forward by SMG! The main problems with the stadium could be fixed with $15-20 million. The ceiling beams could be reinforced over the stage area without replacing, or raising the roof. I have asked some engineeers and they told me the current beams could easily be reinforced to handle the weight requirements at a fraction of the cost that Chema proposes. The ADA problems could easily be fixed by offering a main floor parking lot by the stage entrance with prime! New bathrooms could be added to the North & South side. Even the seating could be upgraded! By removing some of the seating on the East side of the stadium floor entrance the overall floor size could be enlarged with minimal seating loss.
